AI Scoring
- BandUp gives practice feedback, not official school, exam, rank, or admissions results.
- Scoring is rubric-specific across NAPLAN, scholarship boards, year-level writing, state Year 12 pathways (VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE, TCE, NTCE), and custom rubrics.
- Rubric alignment is approximate and may differ from assessor judgement across frameworks.
- Scores are shown with criterion-level reasoning so families can see what to coach next.
Child Privacy
- Accounts are parent-owned. Children are profiles under a parent account.
- Essay text is not sent to analytics or Sentry error monitoring.
- Sentry session replay masks text, and server/client events scrub essay content.
